This is my second in my new abstract expressionist series. It was born during the pandemic, while I had to stay home and with the fear and uncertainty of that time. I couldn't seem to paint perhaps because my usual subject matter is happy and peaceful. Now theres so much social unrest, I just feel like this method is what I need to do now. It's total creative freedom, there is no planning, no preliminary sketch, no thumbnail, it's just pure unadulterated creative flow, subliminal and instinctive. I leave it untitled so there is no preconceived idea, the viewer will have their own experience. I sign the back so the painting can be hung vertically or horizontal.
