Swallowtail Butterfly
From my continuing bug series and life studies of various things that pop up in my daily activities. This butterfly kept flying in my face, it made me notice it and I painted it. I love insects the pretty or interesting ones anyway. 8 x 12 x .75 inches, oil and cold wax, the edges are painted.
