The Magician
This is one of an early series of paintings I did in the 70's & 80's, It has pretty much ended and I have a few left which were in storage and I've started restretching and restoring them, I thought it would be a drag but I'm actually loving it. These paintings were my escape from unhappy situations and they're showing me that I conquered a lot of stuff since then. They were all inspired by dreams that I had at that time. This one is one of my dreamscapes with a magician with his card tricks and torn sky.
I just restored it, it's a very relaxing thing to do.
The edges are painted, looks great without a frame.
