Sonata in Red
I had a couple of frames and decided to create paintings for them. This one is of a cello/woman from my cellist series which was born in the year 2000. I never tire of painting them, they are so peaceful and have an inner serenity that I can feel while painting them. This one is acrylic on hard board, it’s in two hot colors red and yellow, I love that combo with the earthy browns and white. The painting is 14x11 inches, with the simple black wood frame 15x12x1.5 inches
