Luna Moth
They are some of the largest moths out there, the wingspan 4.5” up to 7” making it one of the largest moths in N. America. Their lifespan is about a week. Their sole purpose is to mate and lay eggs before they die. They’re nocturnal and the long tails thwart attacks by bats.
