New in my abstract expressionist series which was born during the pandemic shut down.Since I couldn’t paint my usual happy themes because I had so much angst. It was a very scary time, no one really knew how things would turn out. It made you think about the fundamental uncertainty of existence.
Anyway I have fallen in love with the freedom and expressive nature of this style. I like to work large and staple canvas directly to my walls. This painting shows that beauty can come through anxiety.
