Verisimilitudes 1 & 2
New in my abstract expressionist series which was born during the pandemic shut down.Since I couldn’t paint my usual happy themes because I had so much anxiety.. It was a very scary time, no one really knew how things would turn out. It made you think about the fundamental uncertainty of existence.
Anyway I have fallen in love with the freedom and expressive nature of this style. I like to work large and staple canvas directly to my walls. This one is about the twists and turns that life throws at you and how we become resourceful and resilient to find our way back to a beautiful state. This work is 2 canvases 72x32x1.25 inches each. One can be purchased if you have the perfect spot for one. .
I can also take them off the bars and ship them rolled in a tube if the buyer wants.
